Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero is an American actor, singer, and model. The actress was the co-star in Prince's 1984 movie Purple Rain, and the lead singer of the girl group Apollonia 6 Apollonia was given the title of an actress and female singer by Prince. The 1980s were a time of change for her she was among many other artists that benefited from Prince. Patricia Kotero was born in Santa Monica, California in the year 1959. Her professional career began with modeling in the latter part of 1970. Also, she was a guest on CHiPS. In 1984, the actress was chosen to play the lead actress in Prince's Purple Rain. (During this time period, she also changed her surname) She then replaced Vanity of the female group Vanity 6 which starred in the movie with Apollonia 6 under their name.
