Awkwafina
American musician and actor Awkwafina made her debut with humorous songs that dealt with sexuality and racial identities with a boldly comedic perspective before increasing her presence in Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her first musical encounter. She played the trumpet. Also, she received classical and jazz training later becoming a hip-hop teenager. Following a focus on education, she was awarded an education in journalism at college and a women's studies degree. She turned her attention to music only after she finished her studies. The song My Vag which was her response to Mickey Avalons My Dick, became a popular viral sensation via the Internet and later appeared on her debut LP Yellow Ranger. The album also contained viral hits, such as body positive Queef and a wink-y home tour NYC BitcheUSD. The final track was closely linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was released in the year 2015. After a successful career as a singer, she took on the role of actor. Apart from the early television programs like Girl Code and Tawk, she has also been featured in movies like Neighbors2Storks, and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered several notable roles that were a breakthrough, like Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. Her EP came out, In Fina We Trust in June of that year.
