Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on February 9, 1997 to her natural Filipino parents. Her grandmother was a resident of within the slums of Manila until she reached the age of three. The family she adopted is by one Filipino adoptive mom and an white American army veteran. She has claimed she and the adopted brother she had were abused by their adoptive family members from her childhood until she joined the military. To move to Texas, when she turned 13, her family spent many months living in San Francisco to stay with her aunt. She claims that the physical attack was less severe, however she was still battling her father's psychological abuse at home. After turning 18, she joined the United States Navy. Poarch began her TikTok in the month of April, 2020 and quickly rose to fame. She amassed more than 40 millions fans in less that 8 months. Poarch posted a range of videos and her one that went on to become most well-known was Millie B's viral hit Soph Aspin Send. This zoomed video, which featured her lip-syncing to the music in a rhythmic to the song, became all over the internet. In the months after joining TikTok she created a YouTube as well as a Twitter account to capitalize on her popularity. Her fame grew exponentially in December 2020. Two major Esports professional teams were reported to be intrigued by her. FaZe Clan, 100 Thieves have both expressed interest for her to work as a content creator freelance to promote their brands.
